Our Story
The legacy began generations ago. Sisters Gaby and Dani come from a family of multiple generations of dentists, jewelers, and dental technicians. Their father, Dr. Ronald Bustamante, now retired, created a dental center based on honest work and human warmth, formerly known as Sonrisas & Salud. Since the name was quite generic, the sisters decided to refresh the brand and their space to reflect modern, highly professional dentistry with a focus on patients who feel anxious about visiting the dentist — all while maintaining their values of transparency and detailed, personalized care.

About Daniela
From a young age, Dr. Daniela knew she wanted to help others. She loved playing with miniatures, and during her teenage years she realized her path would be in the health sciences. In her first year of university, she began helping at her family’s dental clinic, where she discovered a genuine love for dentistry — a field that combined all her passions.
Determined to achieve her goals, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry and Doctorate in Oral Surgery at the University of Costa Rica, where she later earned a Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Daniela is deeply committed to her patients and a firm believer in lifelong learning. She holds multiple international certifications and frequently attends leading international congresses in prosthodontics to bring the latest and best care to her patients.
Outside of work, she is friendly, easygoing, and passionate about sports. She played soccer as a child and now enjoys learning tennis, pickleball, and golf. She loves movies and, like many, is a fan of TV series — especially comedies, sci-fi, and some Korean dramas.

About Gabriela
Dr. Gabriela Bustamante Fernandez, known to her patients as Dr. Gaby, is a specialist in Orthodontics and Functional Orthopedics. Dentistry is her passion, and she can’t imagine doing anything else. She’s a perfectionist when it comes to her patients’ smiles, correcting even the tiniest details. Her personal mission is to make every smile as beautiful as possible.
She knew from childhood that she wanted to be a dentist — it’s in her genes. She loves talking to her patients, especially about dental care. If you have a question, she’ll always explain it thoroughly, because she believes that good communication between doctor and patient is key to successful treatments.
